The Bucks have been charging onto basketball courts for a while now, regularly picking up wins and titles along the way. The Milwaukee Bucks are based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with its home turf based at the Bradley Center. The Bucks play for the National Basketball Association and are also part of the Central Division and the Eastern Conference. The Bucks have snagged one championship win, two conference titles and thirteen division titles till date.

A Big Start

Most teams that start out have a number of shaky games before they are able to get on the path to a championship. But the Bucks hit the ground running- formed in 1968; the Bucks were soon getting together a championship team by 1970. This was mainly due to the fact that the Bucks were able to draft some really big talents like, Kareem Abdul Jabbar and Lew Alcindor. In 1971, the Bucks clinched a big championship win and would be one of the dominant teams in the NBA, through the seventies and the eighties.

By the mid-eighties, efforts were made to keep the team in Wisconsin and discourage out of town investors from buying up the Bucks. The team was a local favorite and sales of Milwaukee Bucks tickets were rather impressive. The team also got a new arena at this time and on its 25th anniversary, the Bucks also altered their logo. The original cartoon figure of a Buck was replaced by a more elegant and regal logo that seemed more fitting to the Bucks' reputation.

What Goes Up Must Come Down

Strong sales of Milwaukee Bucks tickets and a team that was arguably one of the most elite in the NBA ,made the Bucks a team that seemed poised for bigger and better wins. But as is often the case, the chemistry that was going sour off, and the court began to affect performances on the court. Tensions between the current superstars of the team and the coach careened into a downward spiral that shocked the entire league, as the Bucks did a freefall, which cost them a chance in the playoffs.

Rather than take the downward slide in a passive way, the Bucks roared into action, initiating roster changes and working towards improving their game. The results were positive and by 2003, the Bucks seemed to be back in business and the demand was back for Milwaukee Bucks tickets. Despite pulling in a disappointing season in 2006-2007, fans are hopeful that the Bucks will be making some magic on the courts soon. This is mostly due to the fact that a number of fresh new talents have entered the team, including Yi Jianlian from China. Yi is a strong offensive player and it looks like the Bucks may be bidding for another championship win soon. Make sure that you are there to watch it all happen live.
